A stylish 1920’s game about a detective giraffe looking to solve a challenging mystery is currently seeking funding on Kickstarter.
Lord Winklebottom Investigates takes you to a deserted island to solve the mysterious killing of your friend.
You are Lord Winklebottom, one of the world’s greatest detective. Along with your companion Dr. Frumple, you investigate the home of an old friend who has been murdered – found dead inside a tank full of water. One of his very best friends is currently in the house, though this man won’t really talk about anything worthwhile.
You will end up having to investigate the entire island, seeking for clues and hoping to figure out what happened to this creature inside the tank. There are various puzzles, notes to find, characters to interview, and new places to explore for this challenging case.
In the world around Lord Winklebottom, humans don’t seem to exist, as everyone is a clothes wearing, English speaking animal. The characters are beautifully voice acted, telling you exactly what they know. The dialogue for these various individuals are already very well written and sometimes very funny – adding to the delightful feel of the game.
