Flying through the sky on your own skyboat, Larsen Wolf is just looking to defend the town from the large amount of flying creatures that seem to be invading it.
This isn’t an easy task, as because you’re a known sky sailor, you have a lot to do to manage your ship in Skywolf.
After saving a little chicken, you both embark on a journey through the sky with a lot to keep track of if you want to save your town. There are loads of monsters flying through the air, but you can fly against them, making sure your ship takes care of these invaders.
Once inside your ship, you can start picking different areas within it to control various parts. From turbo-blasting forward to changing your steering or controlling your cannon, you will need to find your way to the correct part of the ship and activate that area. Moving around the ship and learning what all of the parts do is key to Skywolf – especially as you upgrade different areas of your ship with bigger weapons.
As you fly through the sky, bombs, islands, and invaders will appear. Some folks will also try to get onto your ship, which requires you to beat them up, while other attacks just damage it from the outside. Instead of spending time activating new areas, you will need to fix those parts and continue on your journey through the sky.
You’ll meet new characters, find new areas, and hope to make your world a better place. Have I mentioned that you are a half-human, half-flying creature to top it all off? Your chicken also sits at the front of your ship, warning you of any dangers you might be heading right into. I got the chance to play my fill at the Fun and Serious Festival, where I fell in love with the game.
Skywolf is currently in development, but in the meantime, you can follow its creation on the developer’s Twitter.
