Bug Academy is a super fun physics-based game currently on Kickstarter, where you get to control a bunch of flies who are just looking to complete their missions (and maybe knock some stuff over)!
At first, you are just one little fly, able to carry a small amount of weight and fly about. Dotted around each level, you can find other sleeping flies, who just need to be woken up to join you.
Your main goal is whatever the level is focused on – delivering household goods, herding cows, moving blocks, putting out fires, and more. There are a lot of odd jobs for flies! As a single fly, picking up large objects like cows or fridges is a bit of a task, so you’ll want to pick up some friends in a hurry.
As you move your flies around the level, you can knock over most things. Though this isn’t a main goal of the game, it’s really quite fun and doesn’t count against you, so bash into as much as you want.
Levels do have a goal, and once that goal is met, a suction tube opens up, allowing your flies to be sucked in and moved to the next level. In the demo I played, I had a lot of fun moving around cows, installing washing machines, and generally making a huge mess of the town. Bug Academy is one of those games that you just enjoy playing – especially with the cute cartoon graphics!
You can support Bug Academy on Kickstarter or wishlist the game on Steam.
