When things chase you in a game, it can get pretty scary. When they’re as fast as they are in C.H.A.S.E.D., though, they’re downright horrifying.
All you wanted to do was chill out in your house for the night. You’re just peacefully hanging out, minding your own business, when a nasty stalker comes peeping through your windows. It’s downright rude, honestly. But you do kind of live in this run-down looking place. It really looks like it ought to be haunted, so maybe you only have yourself to blame for living in such a spooky place? Given the price of real estate, though, even if the house you own is haunted, at least you do own your own living space. You should be proud.
Anyway, a rather creepy critter is looking to make your heart explode from terror, aiming to make scary faces at you at high speeds if it catches you. You can deter it from coming in by shining your light out the windows it’s trying to climb in through (it doesn’t want to get caught breaking and entering, I guess?), although this really just buys you some time. If you don’t catch it in time, expect it to rush right at you with blinding speed, likely making you scream loud enough to upset the neighbors. Unless you live out in the woods by yourself like the main character of this game.
C.H.A.S.E.D. looks to give you a coronary-inducing jump scare as you scramble to keep riff-raff from climbing in your windows, offering a frightening time to anyone looking to scream tonight. Also, your TV is haunted in the game as well. Good luck juggling a ghostly presence along with your stalker!
C.H.A.S.E.D. is currently in development, but in the meantime, you can grab a demo from GameJolt or add it to your Steam Wishlist.
