An organization is up to some shady funny business (aren’t all organizations, though?), and you’re going to do your best to stop them. Well, your trained creature pal is.
Coromon has you helping out a newly-hired member of Lux Solis, a tech organization that is supposed to be much nicer than that nasty evil power using one. Hopefully. These things don’t tend to go well in video game land. However, you trust them for now, because they help you gather Coromon, the handy, dangerous animals that will be helping you save the world. Since you apparently can’t be bothered to fight yourself.
Coromon come in one hundred and twenty different types, offering various abilities and animations for you to enjoy. You can customize each of them as they gain levels, choosing which stats to power up to make a party that is uniquely your own. Just don’t make something too strong, as you’ll be knocking out all of the other Coromon you’re trying to collect.
While clearly inspired by Pokemon, the game does have its own unique little touches. The big one is that there’s two dang save slots in the game, so at least you can play it again without deleting ALL of your data, or you can also let your brother play without the same thing happening. It also offers difficulty levels in case you want to get completely decimated by a group of moon-loving puppies.
Coromon is currently in development, but in the meantime, you can add it to your Steam Wishlist or grab a demo from the App Store, Google Play, or Steam.
