Your new delivery app, Devil Express, has sent you to a building that should not exist. Luckily, the strange monsters within actually seem like pretty cool folks.
Worf’s delivery job has taken an odd turn with this new place, but they’ve got a strong work ethic (and by that I mean bills to pay), so it’s off to drop off packages to the folks inside. They’re a little bit on the supernatural side, with gargoyles, mermaids, and devils offering advice and conversation as you explore this place and try to get your work done. Just don’t get too caught up talking to nasty cheeseburger managers or you’ll be there all day.
While this place shouldn’t exist, I’m kind of glad that it does. These monsters don’t seem too interested in devouring you or doing anything particularly sinister. They’re mostly quite fun and charming, and more than willing to have a delightful chat with a lost delivery person. Probably much nicer than most of the neighbors I’ve lived near over the years. Or at the very least, far more talkative.
Devil Express is a quirky game of monstrous meetings and potential new pals, offering several conversations with all kinds of different mythological and supernatural beasts. While you may have made your way to a world out-of-place, these oddball beings offer a feeling of belonging you might not find outside the place. Just maybe don’t get too pulled into a certain startup scheme while you’re here.
Devil Express is available now (for whatever price you wish to pay for it) on itch.io.
