You’re stuck inside with your amphibian family in Froggy Family Fort, so you’ll want to poke around to find ways to make the most of your day.
It’s a lousy day to go outside, but it’s the perfect weather for everyone to come together for a movie. It would be even better if you could enjoy it inside a cool blanket fort, though, but for that, you need to get all of your siblings on board. To do this, you’ll have to do favors for everyone to help free up the stuff you need, as well as make sure they have the time to enjoy watching that movie together.
It’s a simple adventure to find all of the stuff that everyone’s looking for, but in doing so, you get to know this cute cast of frog folks. Each of them has a bit of personality for you to find throughout your short time with them, making for a charming connection with the folks you’re helping out. It’s a lot nicer than the connection I feel for most video game people I fetch stuff for, honestly. Especially when it’s tied together with the lovely art style of Marlowe Dobbe, who you might recall from their striking, hilarious work in Dicey Dungeons.
Froggy Family Fort is a short jaunt in frog family life, but it’s a pleasant look back to long lost days spent curling up with family, and a loving look at the times you can still have with the people you care about. Especially if those people are frogs.
