Knitting Simulator 2014 does exactly what the title says, allowing you to knit up some cute clothing.
Recently, I went to Bemyhuman, a gaming event in Spain that showed off a bunch of games, including a small collection of titles with alternate controllers. Knitting Simulator 2014 was the first game I wandered towards, ready to try knitting as a game.
The game is easy enough. You pick up two knitting needles and start moving them in the same way that you would as if you were knitting. On the screen in front of you, you will see a jumper quickly being knitted together. You end up with a cute, finished sweater before you know it, all while watching the needles on the screen move like you do.
The physical action of moving these knitting needles adds a lot to the otherwise simple game. Once you have made your jumper, you can return to the title menu and then make a new one. I ended up making a cute pink one with an ice cream cone on it.
You can find more information on Knitting Simulator 2014 and it’s creators on their site.
