Ever wonder what it would be like to move planets around with a string, pulling them wherever you please? The Navigator is a beautiful puzzle game that lets you do just that.
You have sailed around the world in your ship, keeping a log of your adventure. Each level is a new chapter in this book, showing you a screen full of watercolor planets that may not be in the right place. If they are close enough, you can throw your anchor at them to grab them. Moving along the rope, you can make your way to these planets, in hopes of snatching a swirl somewhere in the sky.
Your anchor isn’t just used to move between planets. If you are on a planet that is bigger than the one you are hooked too, you can use that weight to pull the smaller planet closer. Moving these planets around strategically will allow you to make a path to that swirl within the level. Eventually, planets start to notice you moving around and try to catch you within their light.
The Navigator is a short experience, but one well worth taking, especially if you enjoy pretty puzzle games.
The Navigator is available for free on Steam.
