Poltergeist Breakup sees you taking on a ghostly form so you can throw things and cause trouble during your ex’s next date.
Ever have an ex leave you through upsetting circumstances and want to cause just a bit of mayhem for them? You’re honestly better off just leaving well enough alone, but if you really need to cause trouble, then this game should let you peacefully blow off some steam. Here, you get to be a poltergeist that can knock things off of shelves, topple bottles of romantic wine, and generally make a nuisance of yourself.
The goal is to ruin the budding love growing in the room between the new couple (and if a few spills and fallen books are enough to do that, this relationship is probably going to be trash, too). You can fiddle with several different items in the room to mess up the date, but you need to do it with the correct timing if you want to mess up the date properly. Otherwise, the date will just carry on peacefully in a messy room. While that might be embarrassing, it’s not the result you’re looking for.
Poltergeist Breakup is a cute way of acting out your vengeful desires in a safe spot, which beats having you do something nasty to someone in real life. If they don’t care about you, you’re likely better off without them, anyway. Doesn’t mean they might not deserve to have a book fall on their head, though.
