Simmiland lets you play the role of god as long as you have the correct cards to keep your humans alive.
Overseeing a world, or a part of the world, is already a challenge. You want the people to believe in you, have faith in you, and you want to fulfill their wishes. At first, you only have a few people and a simple deck of cards, though. These cards will randomly be placed in your hand, allowing you to build mines, add more humans, plant crops, and change the weather.
The thing is, you can only use cards if you have enough faith to purchase them. You can gain more faith by fulfilling the wishes of the people, selling cards you don’t want to use, or by waiting for the people to pray to you naturally. Your world is only going to exist for a set amount of time or until you run out of cards, so you need to make the most of it.
As you spend cards, your people will discover new things; axes to harvest more fruit, ice that might freeze them to death, and bedrock deep underground. Sometimes your people may want thing you can’t give quite yet, like a school of fish. You will need to keep trying and playing around with combinations of cards to see what produces them. Some of your cards allow you to sample something already on the field, or have your people check out something that you might have placed, in hopes of creating new discoveries.
Once your turn with this world is over, you are given a bunch of stars for what you have accomplished. These stars can then be spent on more cards, bulking up your deck and allowing you to have new cards that you didn’t have before. These new cards can really help make your next world work much better.
Simmiland is all about combining actions, meeting the needs of your people, and hoping to expand your world.
