Ghost hunters probably dread Halloween a whole lot, but maybe it’s not so bad when you’ve got cute cats to find like in Spooky Ghosts Dot Com.
Poor Ruby has gotten just such a call, so I guess there’ll be no trick or treating for her. Instead, she’ll be blasting ghosts with a laser gun in order to clear out an extremely haunted place. While you’ll face a lot of the typical floating evil sheet-style ghosts, there’s also ghost animals to make things a bit cheerier, and hot ghosts to add some sexiness to the night. If pale white muscle fellas are your thing. There’s also some kind of gruesome things to fight, though, so not everything is adorable and sexy, here.
That said, there are a lot of cats! Well, eight of them who could use some pats while you’re using your blaster to take down ghosts. They’re lost, and if you give them some nice rubs, things will be better for you. I’m not saying they’ll upgrade your weapons or anything (although there are definitely items in the game that improve your laser and give you new powers), but it will give you a deeper feeling of connection with the universe. At least, it will if you’re like me and seek out pets whenever you’re at someone’s house party.
Spooky Ghosts Dot Com offers a light, cheery horror experience that makes for a lot of fun ghost hunting for a few hours. Being able to give some comfort to phantom pets while you’re at it just makes the experience even better.
