Sticky Cats is a 2 to 4 player game where you play as cats that stick to everything as they scramble to just grab a fish.
In Sticky Cats, you get to choose a silly, hand-drawn cat to play. Once everyone has selected their cats, the game will load you into a room. Each of these rooms have a fish in a fishbowl to one side. Your goal is to grab this fish first and make it to the window of the room.
Some cats are bigger than others, some cats have funny noses, but all cats are very sticky. Being sticky means that you cling to literally everything, accidentally attaching yourself to paintings, couches, and walls. You’ll need to use this sticky-ness to your advantage, making sure to move quickly and only stick to objects that will let you get closer to that ever-enticing fish.
Once you have a fish in your paw, someone else can come and grab it from you, so you need to make sure you act fast to get to the window and give yourself a full win.
This movement makes for wacky and fun multiplayer where anything can happen as you stick to the world. I played an early demo at EGX 2018 and had a fantastic time sticking to everything, especially as other players at the expo shouted in excitement as they clung to the right objects along the way.
Sticky Cats doesn’t have a release date yet, however, you can follow its developers on on Twitter for updates.
