Launching with a brand-new campaign, Kingdom Two Crowns, a new game in the Kingdoms series, shows off the eye-catching art we know and love and pairs it with a new co-op mode that lets players team up with a fellow conqueror to fell their enemies and build the greatest kingdom.
In Kingdom Two Crowns, your goal is to build a kingdom that will stand the test of your enemies’ onslaught. You will have to choose how to upgrade, as well as develop strategies against your enemies to ensure you have the strongest defenses and the swiftest offense. This may be accomplished by recruiting the right units or developing the right technology, but one thing is for sure – you can’t brute force your way to victory, so always try to have several strategies on the go.
Kingdom Two Crowns adds a ton of new features, including new technology, mounts, and units (seriously, it’s a lot). New players will be able to have a wide variety of options when it comes to developing strategies, and old players may just want to change up their tried and true methods. Plus, who doesn’t love riding in on a wicked mount before decimating your enemies?
If you’re having trouble with your battle plan, you can always call in a friend with the game’s co-op mode. These players can drop in or out as you need, giving you a helpful edge against particularly tough kingdoms.
Kingdom Two Crowns masters the fine line of a stressful and hard-earned victory and the soothing walks through breathtaking scenery. If this game doesn’t make you feel like a king, I don’t know what will.
Kingdom Two Crowns is available for $19.99 on Steam, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
